Nice pics. There are a couple of problems with the PSC HTs. They shouldn’t have the hinged flaps on the sides as these were only found on AA variants. A bit hard to correct. But you should probably nip off the side extension on the MG pulpit as this was not found on WW2 HTs – it was unique to M3A2. Also, did you notice that the crew are wearing German webbing?

Thanks for the heads up! Yes the PSC US seem to all be wearing the Y strap… That’s why I decided not to paint it an bring out the flaw… I guess from 3 feet away it will be tough to notice… All in all a nice kit for a reasonable price!

The Y straps are also found on the Commonwealth crew of the PSC M5/M5A1 halftracks. A bit unfortunate as the combined faults will be enough to stop my buying these whereas I absolutely love the PSC German halftracks and can’t wait for the Ausf D variants and Ausf C sets to become available in 1/72.

Not sure if you frequent TMP but a couple of nice pics posted recently of those PSC Panthers you are working on:

Those panthers are beauties! I am stalled a bit on that project, but it should be completed in mid-early July.

Look forward to seeing them. I’d be interested in how well those PSC Panthers scale next to the Italeri fast-build Panther Gs but haven’t seen any side-by-side comparison shots.

I don’t have the fast builds from italeri, but hear they are good kits! I am back to my painting table and hope to finish up the PSC panthers by the weekend to us them in a game!

      Cheers,

      Ted
