Bagration AAR using BKG rules

A Couple of Saturday’s ago Lauren and I geared up for some more Battlegroup Kursk Action.  While both fronts have their advantages in gaming, Kursk offers a much quicker gameplay with better sightlines for tank battles and more movement.  Also the use of Stal, Stal, Stal! was a major upside for the Ruskies when moving the hoards of tanks.  Our Battle is a scenario in the summer of 1944, (hence all the T-34/85s seen in the game).  Below is the basic layout.

While I don’t have time for a blow by blow AAR, I thought folks might enjoy some eye candy from the action.  The Russians narrowly defeated the German forces by a count of 6 BR when the play began to become mostly attritional.  Hope you enjoy!  And look out for a massive AAR from the Western front for my 100th post!  I am gathering with my brother and Lauren tomorrow to recreate a scenario between the Panzer Lehr/Panzer Schwerer 101, and the 7th Armoured Div. outside of Viller’s Bocage.  Looking forward to it!
