German Armor Updates and Repaints

In my ongoing quest to update my armor to my current standards, I have decided to repaint old existing tanks.  The two I am posting today are a Tiger II from Trumpeter purchased and painted in February 2013, and a Hasegawa Panther Ausf. F/G.  Both of these tanks didn’t seem up to par with my current forces and I wanted to deploy them looking more imposing.

Below are pictures from the before:

I decided to repaint the Panther with both turret options that come in the Hasegawa kit to represent the Hinterhalte Camo Pattern of late 1944-45.  It will be deployed in ad-hoc battle groups in some upcoming Fall of the Reich games.  (keeping my fingers crossed that Santa brings me this book!)

And Below are some beauty shots of the completed look along with a couple of new crewmen to man these big cats.  Hope you enjoy!

Cheers,

Ted
