Refurbs and additions

Below are some projects I completed in the last few days. Starting with an armourfast StuH42 that I refurbished with stowage, and schurzen and repainted in a generic camo.

Crew is on the way.

Next is an old beat up airfix 88 and some hasegawa crewmen that I repainted and based as a mini diorama. Basically throwaway kits and now it will make a very nice heavy AT gun emplacement.

And finally… A brand new fantassin US airborne Gun Crew. The guy on the far right is an old revell pose I painted as a generic gun crewman for an MG or mortar team.

Thanks! I love refurbs because they are cost effective ways of creating new pieces and help to keep the budget down! Especially with resurrecting old pieces that are below current standards and would normally have no place on the war table/game!

I’ve both those kits; the Airfix 88 for SCW Condor Legion, while the Armourfast Stugs are going for the Continuation War Finns. It’s good to see how well they can be finished…nice job on both! 🙂
