Some more Panzer Grenadiers for Normandy

Here are a few newly painted Caesar assembly series and cape/zeltbahn panzer grenadiers for the collection. I am thrilled with the end result as I am now able to field nearly 2 full platoons of SS for BGO. I am eying the armourfast German mortars, and need two more MG teams to complete the outfit.

The assembly series is pretty nice when not to fiddly, but I found that the limbs provided are not enough to create the exact poses I wanted, however I was able to replicate this gem…. Minus the Italian camo jump suit… All are a combination of pea dot, oakleaf, and plane tree camo.

What MG teams do you need? Light (bipod) or medium (tripod)?

    Cheers, Dave

I need a pair of light MGs with accompanying teams…. I have some I’m painting now from Caesars assembly series: Normandy Panzer Grenadiers so look out for them!

      Cheers,

Ah OK. I didn’t realise you already had the figs. Was going to suggest you look at the Armourfast set 99007 German Machine Gun Teams as you were already considering their mortar teams. Look forward to seeing the Caesars.

        Cheers, Dave

The MG teams are great from armourfast! I am building out a couple of poses of MGs on the move or before deployment to supplement the firing poses from Armourfast’s set. I like to have a little variety.

        Cheers,

        Ted
